We have been in the Globe/Miami area since 1987.  We have been in operation since 1991, when we purchased the business from Karl Eagar.  We changed the from Berna Accounting Services to Samuel Accounting Services in 1992. 

Karen has been doing income tax since 1972.  She came originally from Wisconsin, where she worked for a Certified Public Accountant.  In 1992 she became an enrolled Agent.  That means she is enrolled with the Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

Karen is also a QuickBooks Professional Advisor for the QuickBooks  bookkeeping software.  She was worked with QuickBooks since the 1996 version and while not a licensed Professional Advisor for earlier versions, she is very familiar with them.

Karen is a member of NATP (National Association of Tax Preparers).

Karen is familiar with non-profit groups.  She was the  treasurer of her local Rotary Club as well as treasurer for the Foundation that club organized  with her assistance.

Mark is in charge of the payroll processing.  He was a bookkeeping teacher until he joined Karen in the business i
